Conditioned on your full participation in all discussion sessions and meals, FSSO will pay you an honorarium of $1,000 and will reimburse you for your travel expenses (discounted coach airfare with a 21-day advance purchase), including ground transportation to and from the Indianapolis airport (if not provided by FSSO) as well as the airport of your point of origin. If you drive, you will be reimbursed on the basis of mileage driven up to the cost of discounted coach airfare from your point of origin, at the standard IRS mileage rate at the time of the conference, probably around 55 cents/mile. Your meal and accommodation expenses during the conference will be paid directly to the hotel.

Each participant should be committed to attending the entire conference. The payment of your honorarium and expenses is contingent upon attendance at all scheduled functions (discussion sessions, lunches, dinners and receptions prior to dinner). Please be sure that your schedule makes adequate provision to attend the opening reception on Thursday, March 14 at 6:00 pm. Your schedule should also allow you to be present and on time for all scheduled functions, including the closing dinner on Saturday night on March 16. If such a commitment is not possible for you, please decline this invitation.

Please note that, as a matter of courtesy, no smoking is permitted during the formal discussion sessions. There are, however, regular breaks in the discussions and ample opportunity for relaxation during free time and hospitality gatherings.

We hope you will able to join us. We would appreciate your reply, by e-mail if you like, as soon as possible, and no later than December 16, 2012. If you are able to accept our invitation, please include a USPS address in your reply.
